The Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este is one of the most traditional and prestigious classic car events in the world. Every spring since 1929, the international automotive elite has gathered on the shores of Lake Como to present exceptional vehicles in a unique setting.
The competition is organised by the BMW Group in cooperation with the Grand Hotel Villa d'Este. Classic cars from all eras are presented - from pre-war models to concept cars of the future. Belonging since 2019 Laura Kukuk was one of the selected judges at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este - as one of the few technical experts in the world with in-depth engineering knowledge and historical expertise.
As Engineer for vehicle technology she brings a technically analytical approach to the assessment. Her expertise complements the aesthetic judgement of the designers and historians on the jury - and ensures a balanced result.
