Since 1929 owners of great cars gather at Villa d'Este, Italy, to celebrate the elegance of coachbuilding and the beauty of design. The Concorso d'Eleganza was born and this year we were lucky enough to celebrate a slightly scaled down version of this great event last weekend. Enthusiasts and collectors from all over the world once again presented very special and rare vehicles on the shores of Lake Como.

The jury

Carlo Felice Bianchi Anderloni, former owner of Carozzeria Touring, chaired the jury from 1995 until his death. He was followed by Lorenzo RamaciottiPininfarina's former head of design has been a member of the jury since 1995 and has chaired it since 2004. Harm Lagaaji was head of design at Porsche for 15 years and specialises in historic racing cars. Ian Cameron is the former Rolls-Royce design director. Patrick le Quément is an award-winning designer and long-time chief designer for Ford and Renault. Adolfo Orsi is not only an automobile historian but also a scion of the Maserati owner family. Charles Duke of Richmond and Gordon is also known as the initiator of the Goodwood Revival and Festival of Speed. Stefano Pasini is a well-known author with over 30 publications to his name. J. Philip Ratghen is CEO of the online platform Classic Driver. Shiro Nakamura was the Global Head of Design at Nissan for 17 years. And "last but not least", 4 competent female experts are representing the jury this year: Jasmin Le Bon known as a "rock chick", supermodel and car aficionado. Mariella Mengozzi Director of the Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile di Torino. Quirina Louwman known for the famous Louwman Museum and participant in the Mille Miglia for over 20 years. Laura Kukuk Vintage car expert and vehicle technology engineer.
